[2023/05/07 16:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: last I recall Debben was in the officers quarters, Leesha was on deck and Cailen was in the crews quarters, where a figure rose up to give a loud scream in her face

[2023/05/07 16:13] Alicia Frakture: Leesha was on her way below deck

[2023/05/07 16:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: that leaves Debben....
[2023/05/07 16:20] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Who was that screaming?" She sighs, looking up from her clue search to figure out where the sound is coming from, moving towards the door to take another look. "Ugh, I don't feel prepped enough for this mission."

[2023/05/07 16:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha makes it below decks, Debben hears the noises from the front of the ship, to which Megan is already en route, meanwhile the creature glares at Cailen and sinks down into the decking.
[2023/05/07 16:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: Not much else happens... for now.
[2023/05/07 16:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: (Which would put you all in the hold of the ship.)
[2023/05/07 16:23] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Indeed, Debben meeting up with the rest of the party. "So what did this creature look like?" She asks of Cailen
[2023/05/07 16:24] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is following the noise through the deck.
[2023/05/07 16:24] Ingelin: Calien sees the creature sinking down and takes a breath in relief, so tries to descrive the figure to Debben: it was a light glowing entity, not well defined
[2023/05/07 16:24] Alicia Frakture: er through the hold
[2023/05/07 16:26] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Just a blurry sort of light?" She prepares a Detect Magic on where it went through the floor after asking follow up questions, to see what she can find.

[2023/05/07 16:31] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Not a spell, at least not of the wizard style," she reports, declining to remark how that impacts the ghost theory. "Ears, toga, blonde... maybe the owner of the ship recognizes such a lass."

[2023/05/07 16:33] Alicia Frakture: Leesha smirks at megan. "Trust me I don't miss that at all." then looks at the others "What ghost?"
[2023/05/07 16:35] Ingelin: the one i just saw, it has been the first time i saw that face, no idea about her
[2023/05/07 16:36] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "girl, pointed ears, green skin, toga, blond." She hmmmms. "Do we follow downstairs or check with the sailors?"

[2023/05/07 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: (Lowest part of the ship, usually a small crawlspace, often full of water that leaked in)
[2023/05/07 16:37] Alicia Frakture: Leesha has an idea since she is still holding the lantern."Could always just burn the thing down and let them start over." She winks at the others
[2023/05/07 16:37] Ingelin: we are here, if you feel good, i think we might follow downstair, we will have better time later with the sailors, no?
[2023/05/07 16:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: Burning down the ship is probably going to result in, at the very least, you replacing the ship
[2023/05/07 16:39] Alicia Frakture: /me shrugs."Blame it on the ghost. everyone thinks this thing is haunted or cursed to begin with
[2023/05/07 16:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: Besides, a big fire in the docks?
[2023/05/07 16:42] Ingelin: if we light a fire it would be destruction. do you think is good? i would like to know more about the ghost, not you two?

[2023/05/07 16:43] Alicia Frakture: Leesha raises the lantern high."Anyway this ship started it.. Think I got a fish in my shoe!" She is trying to use this as a threat thinking the ghost or the ship will try to protect itself.

[2023/05/07 16:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: (You've largely explored most of it that is easily accessible, the crew/officers quarters, the hold, the deck... there's lots of places to go if you really want to, like the masts or the bowsprit or the rearmost deck with the ships' wheel)

[2023/05/07 16:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: as you traipse up onto deck and over to the ships' wheel, you're barely halfway when there is a loud creaking and a splintering of wood, and a spar from the main mast breaks off and falls/swings down (it's still attached to ropes) and strikes Mecha... you'll need a d20, roll under your dexterity

Although you sense the swinging/falling spar, and you twist aside, it still hits you hard, not so much knocking you off your feet as flinging you across the deck. The impact feels just shy of being mortal! For a few moments you can only lie there and wheeze, looking up at the sky.
[2023/05/07 16:55] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben runs over to Leesha to help pick her up and haul her off the ship, increasingly unhappy with this poltergeist.
[2023/05/07 16:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan likewise comes to your aid, holding up an arm as if to shield from anything else - for all the good that'll do
[2023/05/07 16:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: What now?
[2023/05/07 16:56] Alicia Frakture: Leesha slowly gets to her feet and goes with Debben."Nope fuck this ship, fuck the skeletons in the water missing the top of their heads. If anyone wants me I'm getting a drink."

[2023/05/07 16:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan: "I think that sounds like a good idea..."

[2023/05/07 16:58] Ingelin: Calien feels guilty, it has been an idea from her, so follows the girls picking out form her bag some healing cremes

[2023/05/07 17:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: off the ship and onto the docks... a fair crowd of sailors, crowding round asking questions. Did you deal with the ghost? Were you injured? Can they sail again?
[2023/05/07 17:02] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Still haunted, but I want to talk to the captain and shipwright about somethings."
[2023/05/07 17:02] Sonja Bikergrrl: And in the crowd, two men, obviously not sailors, one wearing a grey cowl, who sidles up to Debben and says, "Hey, Debben?" and the other guy, rather flamboyantly dressed in what looks like a uniform of red jacket, blue trousers, approaches Leesha and says "Excuse me, are you Leesha?"
[2023/05/07 17:02] Ingelin: oh annoying crowd: yes, yes, and no, don't you see the mast is down?
[2023/05/07 17:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: The sailors all stand around, speculating and asking more questions, was there much damage? Have you any ideas? What are you doing next?
[2023/05/07 17:03] Alicia Frakture: Leesha answers the people Ghost still there, yes and I say set it adrift and set it on fire." She then looks at the two."If you are going to attack me out of nowhere save it I'm going to get a drink."
[2023/05/07 17:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: The man in the colourful clothes looks rather surprised and puzzled. "But... you -are- Leesha, right?"
[2023/05/07 17:05] Alicia Frakture: Yes, but the last few people who have asked that have attacked me
[2023/05/07 17:05] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben eyes the guy in the cowl. "Yes, and you are?"
[2023/05/07 17:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: The man in the colourful clothes says "...okay, but, I have a message for you." Meanwhile, the cowled guy just looks at Debben, and says, "You don't look so tough..." - and he draws a knife and stabs at Debben
[2023/05/07 17:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: Missed by a mile.
[2023/05/07 17:07] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks at him."What is the message?" Before seeing cowl stab at Debben."You got him?"
[2023/05/07 17:07] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: She wraps her hand around his wrist and hisses an illusion curse into him to make it seem like his skin is turning into a painful mix of worms and flies

[2023/05/07 17:09] Ingelin: Calien observes astonished the man try, pondering what is better to do
[2023/05/07 17:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... the messenger stares wide eyed as the cowled man stabs at Debben. Nimbly, she mutters a few words and gestures - and the man turns tail and bolts, screaming hysterically. "MY SKIN! MY SKIN! FUCK! THE FUCKING WORMS!" - and the messager just gulps and holds out a scroll in a wildly shaking hand
[2023/05/07 17:13] Alicia Frakture: Leesha takes it."Thank you." she says to the messenger through gritted teeth. any healing that may have been done she still is hurting a bit. He's not attacking so she can be polite
[2023/05/07 17:13] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: She bends down and takes his dagger, assuming he's dropped it. "Thought I was weak? Idiot for assuming that of me."
[2023/05/07 17:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: He actually kept the dagger... he probably won't be back, though. The scroll is a simple roll of parchment, sealed with wax - as you take the scroll the guy stutters and shudders, and hurries away
[2023/05/07 17:14] Ingelin: oh you two...so brave and powerful! I will surely write an epic song to celebrate your deeds
[2023/05/07 17:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan, to Cailen: "This sort of thing happens a lot with these two."
[2023/05/07 17:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: Planning on reading the scroll?
[2023/05/07 17:15] Ingelin: how you know it? she asks to Megan? i assume you just met her the first time here at the docks
[2023/05/07 17:15] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks to the others."I will open this at the inn. I think we should get a room for the night while we try and find the owner or swhatever."

[2023/05/07 17:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan looks lofty and wise as she can. "Oh no, we went looking for pies... and a tribe of demons paid dearly for our visit. It was quite the battle!"
[2023/05/07 17:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben grumbles, attempting to find the ships captain or owner again.
[2023/05/07 17:17] Alicia Frakture: Leesha just shakes her head and begins walking away to the inn they went to earlier.
[2023/05/07 17:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: The scroll is a plain scroll, written on it in the crude cuneform of orcish, a simple message: "Leeshy..." (a pet name your relatives had for you) "... some strange doings are a-foot. Would you come and visit sometime? Your granny, Gumph. PS. Can you bring a rat or two...? Should be some big fat ones in the city."
